The past month has been one where I read and come to know of a lot of deaths and suicides both from the news and from friends.
When I come to know about the deaths, it just reminds me of the brevity and frailty of life. I can be fit and active but that does not exclude me from the possibility of dying from a sudden heart attack or virus attack.
When I come to know of the suicides, it is just discouraging to know that so many people no longer find meaning in life and think that death can put an end to their "suffering".
Some look to death with fear, others for relief but for me, I look to death with hope because Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die..."
I believe in it. Do you? Because that will radically change the way you view life and death and the way you choose to live this life you have. Death is not the end. It is just the beginning of something better that is to come for those who believe in Him.
