Fri: Speed Work
Sun: Run 60min
After going through this training program for 1 1/2 weeks, I think I have to stop for a week... feeling a pain on my left knee that's causing me to be unable to straighten my leg without feeling much discomfort. Though I'm sad that all my efforts may just go to waste, I learn at least 2 things from this experience.
1) I am not young anymore... It's going to take hard hard work in order to achieve the target I set for myself.
2) I am impressed by the discipline I still have to go through the program! Often I had to combat the inertia and the "weak" me to get out from my bed and put on my shoes to hit the track.
Translate this my day to day living,
1) Since I am not growing any younger, how am I channeling my energy for better purposes?
2) With that same discipline I had, can I discipline myself to watch the important areas in my life?
It's indeed amazing how God can teach me through such circumstances...
