Was reading this article during my QT on Gal 5:13-18,
"True liberty is maintained in a nation only when the vast majority of the population exercises self control: curbing one's own freedom for the good of others, and for the benefit of the soul. Law and self-control are opposites of a scale. The more a nation's people exercise self control, the fewer laws they will need to govern them; the less they exercise self control, the more laws they will need."
In view of the GE that has passed, probably then just looking at the government, I should look at how I conduct myself, rather than just thinking about exercising my "rights". More so as a believer, may my actions draw people to the heavenly kingdom I belong in.
