It is quite scary how hypocritical man (in general) can be. I read about how a ST writer accidentally mixed up his personal twitter account and with the ST twitter account and tweeted something vulgar, which was sent to all who were following ST's tweets. I read about how Wayne Rooney celebrated his hat trick with a nicely strung up vulgar phrase in front of the TV camera and apologized to the public after that, saying that it was done out of excitement.
Isn't that scary? That before some people we position ourselves as a goodie-two-shoe, presentable, reputable, admired and well cultured so as to either get into their good books or live up to the social norm/expectations, but deep within if we had a choice, we rather rant, curse, don't care, do what we want. And it is sad that the Christian community is not spared from this double standard as well.
It is commonly said that we are who we really are when we are alone. I pray that what people see in me and who I really am within will be the same and not different.
