    dumb dumb...

“what we choose to spend our time on tells a lot about what we like and value”
    – just like the eye is the lamp to the heart, our actions tells us what we value -
A lot of young people I meet, do not understand the linkage that is made by the above quote. They do not see the consequence or the impression their actions are giving to others and how their actions really surface what their hearts are after.

Sad to say, I myself have also fallen into that trap. I have been thinking, “Why do people keep associating with a sports ministry when I am in a grassroot ministry?” It frustrated me for some time but the answer is so painfully simple. It’s what I choose to spend my time on.

Why should I be surprised that people identify me as a sports person when I coach twice a week, play basketball two to three times a week, go swimming, running and biking whenever I’m on leave? Haha, how dumb dumb can I get?

Indeed what our heart desires will be manifested through our actions. As much as we can deny it, it is a plain truth that people (I myself included) must come to terms with. It is
definitely a good time to start prioritizing my life once again and decide for myself what is going to matter and what is good to have.
